Welcome to Torpedo Bay Construction
Torpedo Bay Construction is a residential and commercial construction company based in Devonport, Auckland. The name was borrowed from the location of our first completed major project, 33 King Edward Parade, on the waterfront of Torpedo Bay, Devonport (see Case Studies).
Since that first project we have completed hundreds of projects in the wider area, ranging from minor rot repair work through to multi-million dollar re-builds and extensions.
As a result of our location and the style of houses in the immediate vicinity, our team of carpenters and our consultant & subcontractor partners have become specialists in the renovation, extension, and repair of high-end villas/bungalows and heritage-style houses.
Torpedo Bay Construction provides a range of on-site construction services, preferring to manage and complete the vast majority of construction work in-house, only bringing in specialist subtrades where necessary, to provide continuity, accountability, and economy to the project.
We offer a range of on-site services including: foundation & subfloor work, floor & wall and roof framing, wraps/RAB’s & cladding, joinery alteration & installation, internal lining & finishing work, and various external landscaping works.
We also offer a range of off-site services including: concept design, pragmatic buildability advice, building & resource consent application management, project management, and can provide realistic high-level budgets and timelines.
